Pieces and projects are designed to try and last; to be handed down, gifted or installed if at all possible so as to help toward some notion of a solution to waste.
As well as this the sourcing and production aims to be sustainable by always using scrap and waste. Working with a minimum amount of electric, bare minimum of any chemicals etc.
